Hiya everyone :-)

just a quick note...
would any individual/group/organisation like to register their "thing" at 
http://globalgreens.org ? This site is not the "official" Greens Party 
Global website, but was the original :-)

With this site not being "officially endorsed", it means that whoever joins 
does not actually have to be an "official" Green Party, Branch, affiliation 
or any other type of "official" group at all. Therefore, no organisation can 
take responsibility for what other individuals (or groups) may say.

Personally, i think it would be a great way to get some unity and global 
"synchronicity" happening. A quick, effective and efficient way for all 
active groups and individually to spread information about what they are 
doing.

The official Global Greens have a "global charter" which is pretty good i 
recon (even though i am no longer a Greens member). The video of the first 
meeting (with 650
member countries in attendance in Canberra, 2000) where the original Charter 
was signed by all in those in attendance --- in 3 days of negotiations ---  
was totally excellent!

anyhow... i hear on the grapevine that http://globalgreens.org are looking
into installing a live chat room feature.
Live chat...24 hours a day!

Great INSTANT communication tool. Thinking about the price of "link up"
phone calls and travel arrangements (environmental damage wise)... paper
shuffling....etc.

Also, a great way to brainstorm,
-and an excellent way to get some powerfully cool global actions together.

anyhow...
think about it. .....hope to see you (or your group) there, sometime soon.
