Dear Prime Minister,
For years your Government has adopted the Bush administration's Iraq policy 
as our own, even as that policy has repeatedly failed. With Australian 
troops still at risk and the situation in Iraq deteriorating, Australia 
urgently needs an independent Iraq policy.
We ask that, before Parliament adjourns for the year on December 4, 2006, 
you announce a plan for a new way forward, including a clearly defined exit 
strategy for Australia in Iraq.

(my additional comments)

Further, I ask that you leave the nuclear debate behind. It is a no win 
debate. The nuclear waste is not going to go away, and there is no safe 
method of storage, no matter what cost the energy this industry could 
produce.

The time is NOW to stand firmly in support of sustainable energy supplies 
for the Australian people. Solar, Wind, Tidal, Wave, Geo-thermal, and 
adequate, reliable public transport systems are the way forwards.

The defeat of President Bush is a clear indicator of the way the people in 
the US are feeling. The Australian people have had enough of your 
misrepresentative leadership, they are not stupid, they see the dangers we 
face with Climate Change. They want action NOW.

Either change to meet the REAL needs of your people or GET OUT OF POLITICS!
