Support the unions that support us!
This is an opportunity for peace and anti-nuclear supporters to show common
cause with working people campaigning for a change of government at the
federal level.

The unions who have organised the 20 April rally oppose Howard's ambitions
to expand the nuclear industry, and recently they held Beattie to account
following Beattie's attempt to water down party policy opposing an expansion
of uranium mining.

Unity between those opposing Howard's pro-nuclear policies and those
opposing Workchoices will strengthen both campaigns. So come along if you
can and help our contingent at the QNFA banner.

Info:  US-AUS military exercise: Operation Talisman Sabre 2007 start in
Central Qld in late May.  Approx.  27,000 US and Australian troops will be
practicing bombing, raiding, urban warfare etc in Shoalwater Bay, one of
Qld's most pristine environments What does this mean for Qld and Australia -
and what can we do about it?

JUN - AUG:  Cycle Against the Nuclear Cycle - Rockhampton to Canberra - June
2007

Come and ride with Cycle Against the Nuclear Cycle to help make Australia
nuclear free.  Cycle Against the Nuclear Cycle is a community campaign to
raise awareness about and build opposition to the nuclear industry in
Australia. We're converging on Canberra with pedal power to tell the pollies
we don't want a nuclear future! We're cycling from
Rockhampton to Canberra and from Port Augusta to Canberra from late June
to early September to make Australia nuclear free. More info -
