[Green-Activist] mail to greens national office

Hi Frank after running in two elections i have come out of it
understanding that both major parties are evil. I was shafted by both
the ACTU and the AMWU ( my union). I cringe when members of my branch
celebrated Rudds win. I know you are anti lefty types like myself ( i
am ultra left compared to the ALP) but i can see the ALP destroying the
union movement while howard strengthened it. I would like to see the
Greens becoming a real third force but this can only happen with working
people like myself leaving the ALP and supporting the Greens. This would
only happen if the rank and file members ousted the ALP union boss
stooges. What you describe as the internal Greens problem is mirrored in
the AMWU and other progresive unions. So while i can now see where you
are comming from you cannot alienate workers that are looking for an
alternative. The worse thing that could happen is the Greens move to
becomming a rich class party where the poor and disadvantaged have no say.

Kind regards and peace
bill weller
