[Green-Activist] Iraq update: one death is one too many

Dear Roy,

U pose a question in your mail re Iraq. "(Is it too late to do anything, even if we start the environmental revolution now?)." The answer to that is no. Not if a real green awareness was sweeping the consciousness of the human population of the world. Unfortunately, no such thing is happening.

Everyone now knows that what we greenies have been on about for the last 100 years or so is fact not fiction. (as it's been labeled by the system all that time)

HOWEVER, THE STUPID FILTH HUMANS, STILL LOOK TO THE SAME PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT US TO THIS, TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

The idiots haven't learnt a thing.

For example u talk about Iraq. The only thing Iraq is good for is an excuse to hang Howard for crimes against humanity. The few humans being killed there are insignificant to the billions who will die as a result of allowing the same people to beat about the bush pretending to fix the global warming problem.

Carbon trading. WHAT A LOAD OF BULL SHIT! The only solution is to make coal, electrical, car and oil companies remove all the co2 their products dump in the atmosphere before they sell them or close down. At the same time implementing legislation which will ensure human population will go into negative growth. Any other coarse is meaningless.

  Dear activists,
Warweariness affects us all, as we contemplate more pain from the merchants of death. It might look as though the times are a-changing, with mass consciousness breaking out everywhere on the bleak predictions of climate change and the looming energy crisis (Is it too late to do anything, even if we start the environmental revolution now?).
Political change is already turning the tide in the US, while Australia's faithful-unto-death Johnny Howard still fiddles on the sidelines with his dark predictions of anarchy if troops are withdrawn from Iraq.
But could anything be worse, say, if Saddam Hussein were still king of the pile?
  The environmental degradation and destruction of civilian infrastructure continues ... (www.greenparty.org.uk/.../2003/ The%20Environmental%20Consequences%20of%20the%20War%20on%20Iraq%202.doc - http://www.sierraclub.ca/national/postings/war-and-environment.html http://www.globalpolicy.org/security/issues/iraq/attack/conseqindex.htm http://www.ippnw.org/CollateralDamage.html http://www.medact.org/pub_reports.php http://observer.guardian.co.uk/iraq/story/0,12239,878001,00.html).
The dead and wounded continue to pile up ... (http://www.iraqbodycount.org/ http://icasualties.org/oif/ http://icasualties.org/oif/IraqiDeaths.aspx )
And Iraq remains as deadly as ever for journalists ... (http://icasualties.org/oif/journalist.aspx)
So, as you unfold your crisp morning paper and contemplate your scrambled eggs, spare a thought for those absent from the table.
