[Green-Activist] Australia's immigration record

By the way, Frank
Visit Sydney and see the face of Australia tomorrow. There's nothing
you can (or should) do about it.
Instead of attacking immigrants for the woes of the world, why don't
you turn your reforming energies on the real villains--those
politicians who work hand-in-hand with the miners and other exploiters
of the world's resources etc. etc., and won't do anything (although
they'll say a lot of bull in an election year) about climate change, or
who won't do anything to make housing more affordable for everyone,
especially the homeless; and the aggressive marketers who push their
products onto people, whether or not they need them.
The oil crisis will hit home in the next few years (by the way, there's
no substitute for aviation fuel yet) and the system will pretty much
start grinding to a halt unless the international community throws its
weight behind alternatives and sustainables.
The problems arising from the coming oil crisis will see millions out
of work, cars off the roads, fuel monopolised by governments for
emergency services and the military, and thousands of superhighways, on
which profligate politicians have spent billions, with little traffic
on them. And this is only the beginning. International travel will
only be for the mega-rich, if they can find someone to fly them, and
holiday destinations will disappear into mothballs or cobwebs, or the
jungle. Add to this the rising waters from climate change, predicted
to create millions of refugees worldwide.
I'm not sure where your blood lust for war criminals will lead, but
it's surely not along the primrose path. Take a holiday while you can
before taking a ringside seat for the unfolding climate change and oil
crisis circus. And don't forget to harvest your rainwater, tend your
vegie patch and watch ABC's famous gardening host, Peter Cundall, who's
just turned 80!
