Dear All,

Firstly, let me welcome u aboard in the fight against human degradation of the environment.  Better late than never!

Secondly, I'm one of the doom and gloom merchants, (according to the likes of Howard and Rudd).  The information about climate which has been "just discovered"  was told to me privately by CSIRO scientists more than 30 years ago.  Both major parties have suppressed it!  There is no chance they will change their spots and do what is necessary to reverse it now.  Regardless of what politicians will tell u.  The major parties are awash with liars, cheats, thieves and if they remain in power, will be responsible for killing us all!  

The first job we must do to achieve our goals is smash them out of power and replace them with a truly democratic government which will do what the people want.  The only sane way to do this is without the use of violence.  The draconian measures already introduced by the majors over terrorism is a small demonstration of what violence achieves.

I would suggest blockading Australia's roads till we drive them out of power.  The reason I call for direct action is that, unlike u seem to believe, we don't have time for the leisurely approach suggested in your submission.  If we are not removing substantial amounts of the 200 years worth of CO2 already dumped into the atmosphere as well as being well into all the measures u propose in your submission, within the next decade.  We're buggered!

If the "Avalanche Effect" scenario told to me thirty years ago is in fact happening, and so far all the pointers say that it is, by 2020 sea levels will rise by at least 7 meters.  That drowns countries like Bangladesh, pretty much all the river delta country on the planet and a lot of other low lying agricultural land.  We won't be able to feed ourselves, refugees will number in the billions and the economic system will collapse.  Anarchy will reign supreme and like the people of Easter Island, we'll start by killing and eating each other and eventually become extinct.

If u are new to environmental movements feel free to contact me and pick my brains.  I've been at it a long time.  And I can assure u, it's infiltrated by the system to prevent the type of direct action I propose.  If u're for real I'd like to meet u.
