How to make a candidate disappear.

 

A chilling film about how the US press suppressed information about a fifth
US Democratic candidate during the election that Clinton won.  He was even
arrested when he protested at his exclusion from public debate.

This kind of thing happens in Australia as well and explains to a large
degree the absence of differentiation between the parties and absence of
differentiation between State and Federal governments: they are all dancing
to the tune of the corporate media. It is unfortunate that the public do not
get to elect the owners of the media and that our laws of press ownership
favorise this continued domination by corporatised media of our government.
