Digger,
I started the first major clean up campaign in Australia, at least. And actually invented the soccer net style roadside litter bins. It led to clean up Australia, but they've forgotten the fundamentals. Give people accessible road side litter bins and they'll generally use em. Fine em and they'll chuck it out the window.
If u think it's a pigsty now, u should have seen it 40 years ago! Most highways looked like roads to the dump. The Barkly Highway was known as the "Crystal Highway", u should be able to figure out why.
Now i'll have a look at u're sites, if i can get on this time.
