Message-ID: <200512080539.jB85dg9X009822@mail9.tpgi.com.au> Dear All, As you might have guessed, I have been trying make some necessary arrangements in place for our move to the Sheridan Street premises. Amongst them are: 1. our new phone and fax number for there, as we can not keep our current numbers as the telephone lines will come from a different Telstra exchange 2. a new PO Box in the North Cairns post office Well, as for the phone numbers that I have been able to reserve they are 40 412 891, 40 415 891, 40 417 891, and for our possible fax number 40 412 800. Those 3 phone numbers ending in 891 are the only 3 left on telephone exchange that we are moving to. One of them only became available in the last couple of days. I thought it may not be a good idea to have both our main phone number and our fax number both ending in 891, as it might be too confusing for listeners when they hear them read out one after the other on air. But let me know what you think about this. We don?t need to decide now what number we use for what, and we don?t even have to keep all these numbers if we decide not to. As for the Post Box in the North Cairns area, we are not so luck as to being able to get a PO Box 891 or even ending in 891. Two of the medium sized PO Boxes that they do have available at North Cairns that sounded good to me were PO Box 737 or PO Box 1112. Please let me know what you think about those 2, and which one you prefer, or should we look at some other number with no pattern or catchy roll of the tongue in it. I look forward to hearing from you about this as soon as possible, as these 2 numbers are not reserved or secured in any way, so they could disappear at any time. I thought the same in the beginning of having 40 417 891 as our phone number, but the more I think about it, I like the idea of having 40 412 891 as our main phone number, and 40 412 800 as our fax number. I just think if you have the fax number and the phone number both ending in 891 could be too confusing for a listening audience. BUT, we will see what the others have to say about it too. As for the PO Box, so far I have had 3 responses, and all have said PO Box 737. So unless others think differently, that is the one we might go for. Hi everyone, I like 4041 7891 - 7 is a good number and it's in sequence: 7, 8, 9 & 1 - easier to remember, I think. If we are getting additional voice lines, is it possible to also have maybe 4041 7892, or 4041 7893, or something else in this sequence? This might be good for a fax number too. I favour 737 as a PO number, but anything will do.
